Pierce The Veil Brings the I Can't Hear You Tour to Pennsylvania
We held on till May 25th for Pierce The Veil to come to The Pavilion at Starlake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Bringing along none other than Sleeping With Sirens and Daisy Grenade for the journey, the night was bound to be one to remember.
Daisy Grenade opened the night up not knowing how much the crowd would enjoy them. Alas, the audience loved them, but how couldn't you? Two girls living a dream, and we absolutely love to see it. My favorite part of their set was when they took time to honor and dedicate their set that night to Dave Shapiro.
Sleeping With Sirens was definitely a crowd favorite as an opener, bringing nostalgia of Warped Tour and taking all of us back to our youth. Sleeping With Sirens played some of their most infamous songs and hearing 12,000 people scream back the lyrics gave me goosebumps while listening to it. Specifically touching moments were during “If You Can’t Hang” and “If I’m James Dean, You’re Audrey Hepburn.” Other than those songs, they dipped into their album, Let’s Cheers To This by playing “A Trophy Father’s Trophy Son” and “Tally It Up: Settle The Score.”
Sleeping With Sirens always brings a mass amount of energy that everyone loves watching with lots of jumps and crowd interaction.
Pierce The Veil, after making their comeback in 2022, have been dominating the scene like they never left. This time, they wanted to reminisce the 18 years they’ve been a band, playing some songs they haven’t performed in years, plus some newer songs. This was like their own take on Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour but in a pop punk kind of way.
This production is the most intricate I've seen with Pierce The Veil headlining. The visuals have been so cool with the theme of their newest album while also twisting their older work into it as well. Fans have sparked controversy over the setlist online, but personally, it felt like such a good mix of their music over the years. Stand out moments included performing “I’m Low On Gas And You Need a Jacket” and “Disasterology,” songs they don't typically play anymore.
The energy felt different seeing Pierce The Veil this time around. At this show, there was 12,000 people in attendance, which feels insane to say. The scene is growing rapidly from TikTok, and I’m glad after 18 years they are getting the love they deserve wholeheartedly.

Their energy is always incredible with their enthusiastic jumping and crowd interaction. Nothing beats seeing these guys live. Guitarist, Tony Perry, is always headbanging and jumping, showing the crowd that he does in fact STILL have it. The whole band has their own ways of showing how much energy and life they bring to their performances and it’s truly inspiring how hard they have worked to get to where they are at now.
Pierce The Veil will always be THAT band in my eyes and I will continuously go see them in concert again and again.
